Today was not an eventful day at all. There was nothing extremely special about the day but for some reason I had an inkling of emotion. (GASP) No not me? Emotions are for losers. No no that is a lie, emotions are for the expressively strong. I looked to my right and I saw a book on my dresser by Toni Morrison- The Bluest Eye it is called. It made me think; the water in the deepest oceans are supposed to be sooo clear...so crisp, so clean...But as beautiful as the ocean is why can't we see to the bottom of the ocean floor? Does blue automatically mean clear, or clarity? When having 20/20 vision we should be able to see everything with clarity, if we have 13/18 vision then we use contacts to help us see everything in its true image. I guess what i'm saying is that we can have someone so dirty standing in front of us, clouding our vision but yet we act as though nothing is wrong and we can see everything so crisp. But by the time we see how dirty he/she is our judgement has been clouded with "feelings" that have somehow made it to the most important part of our body...without it we couldn't survive- THE HEART...so how do we now separate and filter all of those corrupt things from both the eyes and the heart? Do we choose? Or will our judgement and vision remain filthy?
